Before you answer this post's title [which is an obviously rhetorical question] with one of the many potentially correct responses let me explain myself. I have been busy removing the "borderline" part of my title as a "borderline truant."
You know it's getting bad when:
you can count the number of classes you attended in a week on one hand
your pre-school routine includes one hour of Saved By The Bell, putting on sunscreen, and sweettalking your friends out of anything scholastic
